The woman behind the finds

Meet Gail.

A practiced eye, a generous spirit, and an enduring belief that beautiful things deserve another chapter.

Chosen with purpose

The thrill is in
the noticing.

Gail has a gift for the pause, for that special moment when one object in a crowded market asks for a closer look. Maybe it’s the color in old glass, the work of an unknown hand, a tiny repair, or simply a shape that refuses to be ordinary.

She brings those objects home, learns what she can, and introduces them live. The goal is to connect a remarkable thing with the person who understands why it matters.

Rehoming remarkable things is serious work. It should also be a very good time.

What matters here

Second chances.
Shared generously.

Discovery

The hunt moves through flea markets, thrift shops, consignment rooms, and anywhere objects with character tend to wait.

Story

A live show gives each find room to be seen, handled, questioned, laughed over, and remembered.

Community

Curious, encouraging, and always ready for one more wild card.

Made by hand, too

New pieces with
old-soul energy.

Alongside the vintage discoveries, Gail makes jewelry by hand. It belongs to the same practice: paying attention to small details, respecting materials, and creating something that feels personal rather than anonymous.

The Woman Behind the Finds

Hi, I’m Gail, founder and treasure hunter behind SpiritHatched. 🐸

For me, SpiritHatched has never been just about selling vintage things. It’s about the hunt, the history, and giving forgotten treasures a chance to be loved again.

I’m the one out digging through estate sales, yard sales, flea markets, auctions, thrift stores—and anywhere else I think something special might be hiding.

The funny thing is, I don’t always know what I’m looking for until I find it!

It might be beautiful vintage glass, unusual home décor, an old collectible, or something so wonderfully strange that I bring it home just so we can figure out what it is together. If it catches my eye, makes me curious, brings back a memory, or makes me think, “Someone is going to LOVE this,” chances are it’s coming home with me.

More Than Old Stuff

One of the things I love most about vintage is knowing that every piece has already lived a story.

Who owned it? Where did it sit? Was it a wedding gift? Did Grandma bring it out every Christmas?

Most of those stories I’ll never know, but I love being the person who helps an old treasure begin its next chapter.

There’s nothing better than hearing someone say, “My grandmother had one of those!” or watching a collector finally find something they’ve been searching for.

I find it. You love it. And its story continues.

The Spirit Behind SpiritHatched 🐸

SpiritHatched grew from my love of treasure hunting, creativity, determination, and most importantly, my faith.

That’s also why you’ll see our little frog throughout SpiritHatched.

F.R.O.G. means Fully Rely On God.

It’s a reminder that I don’t have to know exactly what tomorrow holds. I work hard, use what God has placed in my hands, and trust Him with the rest.

And although I’m the one doing the treasure hunting, SpiritHatched is truly a family affair. My daughter helps with our live shows and many of the behind-the-scenes details, while my son helps with all things technical! They each play a part in helping turn my treasure-hunting adventures into the SpiritHatched you see today.

So welcome to SpiritHatched.

Take a look around, join us for a live show, and stay awhile.

You never know what you might find—because around here, the next treasure is always waiting to be discovered.
